Sounds normal to me!!
Your almost there dear...hang on for the health of your new baby. Try getting as much rest as you can, and go for walks that always helps to aid in getting labor going.
Drink lots of water too...that helps keep you hydrated and in good shape for labor.
Best of luck with your new baby...when he/she arrives you will see it was all worth it.
Congratulations :)

With my second child I went serious 4wd with my husband and then I came home and had half a bottle of castor oil with OJ all by 6.30pm. I had a show at around 7.00pm and then my baby was born at 7.59am the next morning. Although I probably don't recommend the castor oil as it can work very fast. (It cleared aeverything out that is for sure). Other than this lots of walking and apparently rasberry leaf tea. You have probably heard this alot though, the baby will come when it is ready. GOOD LUCK

I am 41 wks pregnant and I feel your pain!! My doctor has istripped my membranes twice which is painful and still I have not goine in labor. The only thing we can do is wait until the baby sends the message through the plaenta to our brain to tell our body when to start labor. No matter what we do it wont make much a difference if the baby isnt ready. The only thing i can do is remind myself that no one stays pregnant forever.

I am 38 weeks and 1 day. I have to say CONGRATS to you!!!! I tried Castor Oil last night, and nothing. Not only was I using it to help bring on labor (I'm also 3 cm dilated and 60% effaced), I used it for constipation. It didn't work. I'm going to try walking. Sex really doesn't seem to work either. The baby and your body just need to be ready. Don't worry, you'll be holding that beautiful baby soon.

it may desire to be a touch early for it to show on a being pregnant attempt. the costly ones provide you with a consequence quicker, yet the cheap exams desire a some distance better point of hcg to be certain being pregnant. Your ranges could desire to not be extreme adequate yet, yet they do double each and every 24-seventy 8 hours, finding on how some distance alongside you're. in case you desire to sense greater clever, wait some days and take yet another attempt. Then once you pass to the well-being care expert, ask them to verify your appropriate hcg ranges to make specific they're increasing accurately.

eggplant parmigian! there's a restaurant in the states that swears by it... even so far as promising you'll go into labor soon after eating it. they supposedly have a good success rate with it!

seriously, though. your doc can strip your membranes to encourage labor. if your body and the baby are ready, you'll soon be in active labor.

natural therapies that others swear by are evening primrose oil and the such. talk to a midwife before you try this. they can be pretty potent!

good luck and best wishes for a safe and healthy delivery!

DON'T DRINK ANY BLUE OR BLACK COHOSH, AND DO NOT DRINK CASTER OIL!!! I tried so hard to get my son here quicker! I tried everything! They ended up having to induce me, not because I was late, ( I was only 3 days late!) But i was having all sorts of complications! I didn't even get to see my sweet baby boy until he was 1 hour and 1/2 old! A specialest had to come in and watch him. It was so scary! Not to mention I had tons of problems too! I lost too much blood, all kinds of crap!

Trust me I know you hate to hear this, I would get pissed when people told me this, but... just wait.Your baby WILL get here. I know it seems like it won't, but he will. And then you're up all night :-)! Good luck! And before you do anything... read up on it!

throughout my 1st pregnany, i walked frequently. but the last 2 nights before i went into labor my husband and i walked extensively, like for 2 hours each night, and around our hilly neighborhood. on the second night after our walk, almost a 1/2 hour after we got back, i started feeling the 1st labor contractions. walking really does help for many women.
