My husband just got my name tattooed on his arm. Now, I want to get his name done, but I don't know where to get it. Keep in mind that it needs to be some place where I can show it if I want, but I can also hide it at work. My husband doesn't want me to get it on my ankle, so where else can I get it?

I really don't recomend getting anyones name. What you really should do is get something that symbolizes your relationship.
I got a teddy bear, with a chain around his neck. It is my favorite song and my hubby sang it to me on our first date!

Don't get a tattoo of a man's name unless you plan to have it removed or covered up later. A friend of mine was married for 15 years, thought she always would be too, then she had to get this horrible ugly flower to cover her ex husband's name after their divorce.

first of all i say you should never ever tattoo a persons name on your body UNLESS its your child.... but if you insist on getting his name tattooed on your body put it on your ring finger.... this way you can cover it up with your ring.... but when you want to show it off you can take your ring off and show it! Also when you get the tattoo.... ask the artist if he knows the colors that are easier to be removed... incase you and your new hubby ever get divorced and you decide to have the tattoo removed

I would nevr get a name except for my kids. I love my husband, but I know things can happen. Instead, why not try something that symbolizes your relationship, or what he means to you. That will always be special.

i think just above your pant line , lower back is cute .You could have a design added with his name but think about it before you do it , i couldn't tell you how many guys i know that have their EX'S names on them and wishes they hadn't done it now.at least try to pick a style that can be covered up you ever change ur mind.

personally i WOULD NEVER do that. not because i'm thinking negetive in terms of 'what if' judt becuase there are other more creative ways to show devotion.
but if i had to pick somewhere, you should get his name tattoo around your wedding finger. that way it could be hidden by your ring but still cute and creative.

well, honey, I personally, wouln't reccommend it. I know that may sound crazy now, but, like most of the world, people end up divorced, and then there you be with your ex husbands name on your body, where it will be MORE exspensive, and more painful to have it taken off.

I have our last name (rather than just his first name) tattooed on my lower back... yes I know, it's a tramp stamp...but it's somewhere that's just for him--if you know what I mean.
