As one who was born, was raised in Spain and still have relatives living there, this is my honest opinion of Spaniards in general, and this is in no way meant to be insulting, but it is true in a cultural sense, in comparison with the anglo culture:
Spaniards are extremely arrogant, think of themselves as superior and they won't think twice about correcting you if you mispronounce or misspell a word, or say something that may be factually wrong, something that in the Anglo world would be considered quite rude. They may not mean to be that, but to a non-Spaniard, that's how they come across. Anglos tend to be more of a belief that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Spaniards never really learned that lesson.
With that said, you're more likely to find a true friend with a Spaniard as they tend to put friendship above everything else, than you would with an Anglo who is far more wishy-washy as far as friendship goes, and won't mind stabbing you in the back if it serves their purpose. Spaniards in general would never stoop that low... unless you have wronged them.

Well since you play the guitar, I guess I can look past your ethnicity. Kidding, I have never been to Spain but I will someday. Most of my friends have been, and my GF lived there for a year. I hear in is wonderful.

I used to be in love with a Spanish man who played the guitar in a dance class. We called him "Spanish Guitar Man" because we didn't know his name.......

I don't know anyone from Spain personally, but I think the women there are beautiful.

I think they speak Spanish. They're also quite competitive and download illegal movies a lot from what I seen.
