no x-mas /birthdays dont count cause most likely family buys them enough.....I really dont spend a whole lot on toys mostly a baby they liked the pacifier and middle months when they can hold things had rattles love the nosy ones (black white einstein best)....my youngest is 11 1/2months and shes into the small rocking horse and toys that dance..and mirrors since 8 months..older is different story into moving toys age 2yrs there into baby videos and talking books...3 /4 coloring...five six if boys then into video games.....girls mini doll house ....well estimate wise when babies about 50 under month older 120 under month when they do there chores or good in school we had reward night .

I have two kids, 6 and 9. Would it be fair to say that I get them whatever they want most of the time so as not to cause conflict. In a year, I spend so much I could probably have taken out a mortgage!!!!!

Up to 12mths I would say between Grandma and me we spent about $40 a month. After 12mths it just varies because they have so much already, but I would say about $20-30/mth. This was my first too so we needed everything and my babies stimulation was important so I made sure she had lots of educational and toys to stimulate her brain.

It really depends on what you can afford, and still be able to pay your bills in december.
