To those non Brits - 'The Goodies' was a comedy from 1970 to 1981 on the BBC. Now quite dated but known for its special effects. And yes, I remember 'Kitten Kong'!

Will reveal the results in a few days time....

Graeme Garden because I think Bill Oddie is better suited to presenting Spring Watch et al, ie he isn't much of an actor really. Tim Brooke Taylor always played the establishment figures so that put me off him straight away! Graeme Garden was the eccentric inventor and I really like his persona, he's still funny now.

Deffo Bill "I'm a serious ornothologist now" Oddie. Was funny as. My fave was the crown jewels, where they had to save the beefeaters. What about when they got on the bike and then raised one leg, raised the other, then fell off?! Hilarious... I got the box set, we watch it after a night out on the pop.
PS wasn't til I was older that I realised how camp Tim Brooke-Taylor was. Always in a dress that bloke...

Bill Oddie. Even more so since bumping into him in the toilets at that Music hall of fame award thing. Didn't ask for his autograph, he seemed a bit busy. Very good personal hygiene, washed his hands and used the hand dryer rather than the paper towels.

Cool. I like Wallis and Gromit! I've never heard of The Goodies or Kitten Kong.

Has to be Bill Oddie.
He was really cute in the day.
If you have never heard it try 'I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again' on Radio 7 and you will never feel the same about wombats again.

Bill Oddie cos the only 'Goodie' I know of.
Plus does some good bird programmes.
This is 29 Acacia road...

Perhaps ITV could show them on one of its channels. The clips I've seen look 'interesting'.

They were all good in their different ways, but if I had to choose one, it would be Graeme Garden. I loved his brown leather patch eccentricity. I think the tandem was also a star.

Bill Oddie was best although I was only about 4 when I watched it. The theme song was the best. My dad used to sing it with me. God bless you dad.
