We would not be buried in debt.
The rich would be paying their fair share of the taxes.
We would not be mired in a senseless war in Iraq.
The victims of Katerina would have been promptly rescued and cared for.
If there were attacked on 9/11 we would have quickly wiped out Al Queda in Afghanistan instead of using 9/11 as an excuse to get involved in Iraq.
There is much more. It can be summarized by saying that things would have been much better for all except the very rich (those who don't pay tax and whose children aren't sent to die in the desert).

Well Miss Informed, if the Klintons had to happen, they happened at the right moment in History. AFTER the Soviet threat was gone and BEFORE the seriousness of Muslim crazies and WMD's.
The Klintons were all about getting to the power and then doing nothing with it once they got it. That's not leadership.
Nor will the War on Terror be effectively fought by using focus groups and poll watching. Again, leadership is needed and leadership means sometimes doing un-popular things that are none the less right in the long view.
Bush is a real leader. Not a poll watcher.

A LOT of people wonder this same question-! It is only opinion, of course, but - judging by the eight years while Bill Clinton WAS in Office, I would say that - the economy would be/have been in a better shape, the WAR in Iraq never would have happened-!! People speculate on whether or not 9/11/2001 would have happened. This is opinion, only since there is obviously no way to know. I also believe - again in my opinion - that many of the other countries around the world would not be hating us as many of them appear to be doing so, today. In general, I THINK that the country would be in a much better shape, but - we can only speculate-!! Sure, Clinton has his own personal problems, and these were made extremely public by the media. Before Richard Nixon and Watergate, Presidents' personal lives never got as much national attention. But - I feel that the country did not suffer as a whole under Bill Clinton as it has under the current Administration!

i attempt this even though it will probbably get rejected by most on here but it is based on real events
while clinton was in office there was for the first time in my memory that there was pease treaty between isreal and palistine and a disarmermant of isreal in the gaza and the leaders of those two states were walking and talking and shaking each others hands while walking through the gardens at camp david not once but several times just before bush became president N.Korea announced that it was no longer persueing a nuclear weapons program and sanctions were eased after that commitment was made and saddam was in check when it came to the military force build up in its lower region because there was diplomatic intervention sponcerd by the U.S. with the U.N leading the way .
now what is the first thing prez. bush did he ignored all foriegn relation ground work started by the clinton administration and pissed the world off then spun it to be attributed to clintons lack of attention instead of clintons understanding that we are guests in foriegn countries and when crimes are commited against us then we will give the hosting country to seek justice instead of hold the whole country responcable for the actions of a few radicals for we would onl encourage others to join such radidcals if we unjustly attack an entire country for such actions;
so in a sence I would say that we would still have our towers and all those jobs and lives with us today cause we did and would still know were osama was he would have no reason to be in hiding .we would probably never invaded iraq cause clinton would of deployed the diplomatic machine into bagdad instead of announceing the destruction of iraq's regime and the arrest of its leader who was mantaining the balance in that region and terrifing all the Iraqies with the silent death from above .
our future would besecure cause we would not have gone into debt with china but all might have heathcare and educaton packages in that future oh ya and not to metion the chaos of 9-11-01 the fear of our public and the willingness to wipe a race or religion of the face of our planet inorder to feel safe
well this i a rant as with all rant to be taken with a grain of salt and ignored so thanks for letting me gain to points and forget what i started to say

We would be sitting cowering in a corner sucking on our thumb because our gov. would not have the balls to strike back at al queda or take out Saddam. His weapons of mass destruction would have grown and other coutries Iran, Syria, Lebenon would be getting them and they would eventually start to push around everyone. Clinton was a damaged the American image. From cheating on his wife to renting out the white house to the chinese, to selling items from the white house he was and still is a worthless person in my eyes.

Well the middle east would have taken over the USA and Clinton would be in Canada. I am so happy he is not and never will be President again and also his trusty sidekick Al Gore.

We would have someone with some intelligence in office compared to the damaged brain cells we have their now. Ann Coulter would be on her knees instead of Monica, because she is just a media whore seeking attention. We WOULD ACTUALLY BE LOOKING FOR BIN LADEN, instead of trying to bilk Iraq for personal gain. The Middle Eastern countries would actually be trying to help us find terrorists in their country instead of most of them hating us. We wouldn't be BILLIONS in debt now. We wouldn't have gas being over $3.00/gallon. New Orleans would've had assistance BY NOW, instead of having the current president fly over there, give a speech, then leave. Our public school system would actually have assistance, and he would be worried about our DOMESTIC POLICY instead of "playing cowboy" with foreign policy. We would actually have jobs THAT PAID instead of watching them go away, and there wouldn't have been tax cuts for the rich. I can think of many more, but my hands are tired of typing. That's how bad YOUR CURRENT PRESIDENT IS....
