The sugar does take away some of the health benefit. I, too, like them dipped in sugar. It's because sugar has been processed so much and bleached to be white, that it has barely any nutritional value. However, if you aren't eating a ton of it a day and it's primarily on strawberries (considering how many strawberries you eat) I would say it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Well, technically, too much sugar is not a good thing. It can make you fat or even have diabetes, but that is if you consume a lot. I know it tastes better with sugar (guilty), but try not to dip that much in sugar.

I can't see any harm. My mother has been doing that since she was a little girl. She loves it that way. And she still eats it like that even now. She is 86yrs. old. Her health is fine.
Enjoy your strawberry's dipped in sugar.
Have a nice day.

It is better than a candy bar. Just remember that strawberries are already pretty sweet, fruit is good, veggies are better.

The strawberry is still healthy.
It's the sugar that's not. :)
