Marriage isn't taken seriously and divorce just becomes another stage of life.

Because they get less bad press for a divorce then living together in sin.
It doesn't really matter, we do not know these people personally and will never understand their problems.
Ignore it and it will go away, stop reading about these million marriages followed by the 1/2 million divorces, it's not all that interesting.

because nowadays if it doesn't work out in a marriage, its easy to just divorce, whereas before, it was a huge scandal if you divorced. Celebrities sometimes just marry to get in the paper, so there is more chance of the relationship failing.

I don't think there is that much more divorce among celebrities that us regular folks, we just read and hear about more because they are celebrities. Also can you imagine the pressure that there would be to cheat hanging out with beautiful people all the time.

Don't judge everyone else by what the celebrities do. Guess that very few of them of them can ever find happiness. They live in a different world.

For celebs, it's probably because the press make such a big deal about everything, especially marriage, that it's hard to keep marriages going.

Because they're such attention w****s who feel they have to be in the news all the time. Most of the marriages that have lasted a long time are because they keep their private life private instead of selling picture to People and such.

Divorce was only for the rich and famous at one time, now rich man, poor man, beggar man or thief can get one with the help of legal aid , so now they can they do.

I know! They only last a year and then it's off to the divorce lawyer. I don't think they can be bothered to try.
