I think many married woman use sex as tool to control thier husbands. Which doesn't work.
When you're married their is a lot in a relationship you have to deal with. Compramises and attitude. Sometimes this spills over into the bedroom. Well since he didn't do this he doesn't get none tonight. This can get complicated because then the man can do the same and say fine well next time she's in the mood I'll be busy watching the game and it goes on and on until there is just too much tension and this can also drive a man to cheat. In my opinion a woman should never use sex as a weapon, beacuse your punshing your self aswell. Never withhold it or reject him. You'll have a happier home.
Women have a lot on their plate, they have to clean the house, pick up the kids, take them to practice, pay bills, make dinner, help the kids with their homework, etc. And some even have full-time jobs too! So they may just be stressed out and tired. Men, help out! Offer to help, baby, what can I do, you want me to pick up the kids and make dinner tonight? A nice massage so she's relaxed and feels loved, she'll be more into pleasing you if you want to please her ;)

Boy, I don't know. Not a problem for me. But.... times in my life when I have been less than enthusiastic about my sex life was generally about external stress, or other problems in the relationship. For many women, sex is much more than a physical act, and if we're not emotionally into it, it's hard to enjoy. Very few women are "frigid". If stress/marital problems aren't the issue, she should see a Dr. to make sure she doesn't have a physical problem!

I was married for 24 years and I enjoyed having sex with my husband every single day. Until I found out he cheated on me that is. Then it went downhill from there, of course.
So this is not true of every woman.
Also, you have to be careful of a man saying that his sex life at home sucks, if he is trying to get with you. They will say anything to get you in bed. Believe me, I know. My husband did that, and all that was missing was to hang from the chandelier during sex.

All I can say is that when I don't feel attracted to my husband is when he thinks sex can be disassociated from the day. i.e. if he was lazy and unhelpful or argumentative, don't ask for action when we go to bed, even if we're "ok" or have made up.
In marriage, getting along and being a true partner during the day is a necessary "foreplay". Too many guys just don't get that and then they complain!

Lame answer prolly cause I'm not a woman, but they may be too tired.
There could be a physical reason like age, poor health or frigidity.
Another reason would be because there is something missing in the relationship -- communication, affection, trust, love, excitement etc.

Not all women. Stop generalizing. Some women, including myself, love to have sex with their husbands.

Been there, spent many years wondering why I didn't want sex. Turned out it was his fault, he didn't know how to treat me outside of the bedroom so I didn't respond to him in it. Try this link, it helped for a while, until I found out he hadn't let go of his affair.
