Yes. You may have to have an adapter plate built, possible that there is one aftermarket available. Check Holley carb. website.

It's possible, but not a good idea. There's a later manifold known as the "Super Six" that will bolt right onto your engine, costs very little, and will put a two barrel carburetor on there easily. If you have an automatic transmission, be sure to get the entire kickdown linkage from the donor car.

I have seen some attempts at adding two barrel carburetors without adapters. Unfortunately, the hole in the manifold is way too small to let the airflow from a two barrel carb through without choking off the power. The only good way to put a two barrel carb on the stock manifold is to cut a much larger hole in it. This is a lot of hassle - you're better off searching for a factory two barrel manifold. All slant six manifolds are interchangable, so a manifold off a 225 cubic inch one will bolt right up.

The Super Six manifold is not available new, so your best bet is junkyards or Ebay. There are a few other two barrel manifolds out there from Lynx and Clifford that will fit but are a good deal more expensive.

The green motor of that era had a two barrel carb fitted as standard if you could find one but adaptors where availble from auto supplies and it wouldnt be hard to make one either.Dont over rev those engines, they have a long stroke and it doesnt take much for them to fly to bits.
