"hot head?" & terrorists have never stoped dreaming to
assassinate presidents. I remember when about five terrorists that were sent via the Sudan to Ethiopia to murder the presidnt
of Egypt but all got killed by my Ethiopian fellow soldiers. If you
trace back in histry, these [allow me to use your term] hot heads
& terrorists have sucssided .For example, the beloved G.F.KENNEDY, ANWAR SADAT, INDRA GANDY..,etc.

Not at all asking for trouble. Critics who have not even had a chance to see the film don't know what they are talking about.
For example, the movie "Titanic" was not about the sinking of the ship, but about class differences in America.
Recall that the band continued playing the violins while the affluent passengers climbed aboard the lifeboats while the poor passengers in steerage were locked below deck. Some people may have missed that point in the movie and are missing the point of this movie.
The opening scene in Saving Private Ryan, you would have thought the movie was about the invasion of Normandy, but no the subject was really about Private Ryan and the sacrifice of his family.
The opening of "Death of a President" is not really about the assassination of the president so much as it is a story about how the presidency of George Bush has torn apart the fabric of democracy. How will the world pick up the pieces after his term is over? He won't be around forever, isn't that the point of the movie?
Just because people don't ask the right questions and cannot confront the hard truths that are in the world, they are still there regardless of whether or not we choose to look at them.
Not looking for the truth is asking for trouble.

I agree with you!! I think that there is enough of a space for creative license without having to cross the line of decency. I am not a Bush fan, I did not vote for him but he is the Commander-n chief and i respect that. I dont want to let anyone in the world know that we are so discruntled because it makes us appear weak.

I agree. But not to worry, this the thought of an assassination is not new a new concept. Bush will still be as safe as he has always been.

I certainly believe a movie like that could end up screwing up somebody's mind enough to try it. Its happend before,
Taxi Driver had its Influence on John Hinckley, Jr. shooting Reagan. It only takes one crazy person and if it does happen those film makers will have to live with that.

How many movies have depicted assassinations? Dozens.
It's fiction. Get over it. Blaming movies for people's criminal choices is just another way of blaming others and denying personal accountability.

I myself can not stand this man? but I was here when John Kennedy was killed and the world suffered for years, and than Robert was killed and the same thing the world suffered again. that's when I decided if you are a good person watch out and if you are like Bush you don't have to worry no one will kill him he is not worth going to prison

That is one of the downsides to freedom of speech. Did you ever notice that almost everyone who takes advantage of that freedom is a dipshit and probably shouldn't be talking anyway?
