Internet Explorer keeps shutting down when I try to play Da Vinci Code on Yahoo. I use FireFox for all my other browsing but this one game requires internet explorer. I think it is a java problem, but I had to do a reformat not too long ago and I think this may have caused it. When I start my computer it goes into recovery console which I also have not figured out how to fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall and reinstall your Java program. Check to see if any of the "add-ons" for Internet Explorer are damaged (Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Objects). If any of the add-ons are damaged, just delete them and next time Internet Explorer needs the damaged add-on, it will ask to reinstall it.

The format would have nothing to do with it since that is starting from scratch, and everything should work fine. As for the recovery console, make sure u dont have ur Windows XP disc in your cd rom drive. Its prolly in there and ur computer is trying to boot from that cd when ever you restart your computer.
