I think the kind of love that hurts is that obsessive can't live without each other stuff. I had that with my ex, so many times in our years together I felt like dying if we had to spend time apart. Ups and down made my emotions sky rocket and honestly it hurt like hell and I hated it.
But now i'm in love with a guy and he's never hurt me once, Its a happy love none of that end of the world crap mainly because its so safe and secure and i'm so much happy. So love can hurt but it doesn't always have to. There are definitely different types of love.

yes it hurts, when you are wronged or wrong your partner it should. Just do not hold onto the hurts. Learn to forgive and forget and take one day at a time. Make happy memories and then you will have less hurt.

Love hurts when you cant be with youur loved one when you want and being apart hurts but it is a good hurt it means you have love and care deeply .

losing someone you really care about does hurt. I lost a wife to my best friend. Nothing hurts more than losing someone you really care about. I not only lost my wife but lost my best friend at the sametime. It sucks but there is always someone out there with a good heart. I just wish I could find one myself. Hand in there and someone special will come along.

Give yourself sometime. Take time for yourself and someone will come along maybe not right away but it takes time to heal from the heart. I do not know if he left you for someone else but you seem to be very hurt look at it this way he won't find someone else like you. You are special...

yes..i does..but only if its one sided..if ur not recieveing as much as ur giving or even part of it then it hurts n it hurts bad...it makes u wana die...but if u get love in return of love then its the most beautiful n wonderful feeling..like walking in cloudz..n lucky r thoes who love n r loved in return with equal intensity...
