Some of it has to do with members of the N-NPT, nuclear nonperliferation treaty; but, I think most of it has to do with the double standard that seems to apply to non-USA allies.
Basically, the UN was created by China, Russia, UK, USA and France because all were the winners of WW2. They believe this gives them the right to dictate to the rest of the world who will or will not have nuclear capability.
There is also the fact that the USA is the only current superpower and the cold war has ended. I have been stating since 2001 when Bush resigned from the Anti-ballistic Missile Treaty (thats long range nukes) that we were on the verge of another cold war or even WW3.
I mean think about it... the USA cancels the anti-ballistic missile treaty then invades Iraq without UN approval after stating Iraq was on it's axis of evil. If you were one of the countries on it's axis of evil (Iran and N.Korea) wouldn't you be concerned and want to make nuclear weapons.... I sure would.

I really believe you should know what the President of the United States can and can not do. Please do some research and you will find that your observations are wrong. President Bush has not or will he use the nuclear bomb. Iran on the other hand is not so trusted. The United States has many bombs that are far more powerful than the nuclear. Be more concerned about them. They will not destroy all living things like the nuclear can. Remember if you people in Iran use the nuclear bomb you are going to eat the fallout. Ever seen a child that was born after the radiation fallout. A lot of deformity is going to happen. Good luck in all of your endeavors of annihilating yourselves. I would suggest you read this. It not only can happen in the USA but where you live too.

I assume you are talking about Iran and N. Korea. Bush didn't decide they couldn't have nuclear weapons, The U.N. did. The U.N. is also the ones who decided Iraq could not possess any weapons of mass destruction. Yes, America is a member, and we voted against allowing these countries to have nukes, but so did the rest of the members. Once again, Bush is evil because of a decision made by the entire U.N.

No country that currently has nuclear weapons has started an all out nuclear war and has them solely as a defensive weapon. Why take a chance with a country that has never had the weapon before? They might use it as a tactical weapon. It's best not to allow them to develop it.

missourim43, the oath of office Bush took says nothing about protecting the country. "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
As for Iran, they have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and they have no nuclear weapons. And our allies Israel, Pakistan and India haven't and they have nuclear weapons. In fact we are giving India uranium in exchange for Indian mango's.And Pakistan is run by a dictator that overthrow a democratically elected president.

Who did he use a nuclear bomb on, I don't recall any, will you inform me?
Second off, you have a president of a nation whos main goal in life is to wipe off an entire race of people, a nation of people people who follow that man who are willing to sacrifice there children to destroy non believers. A nation of women and children who are so full of hate for a dfferent race of people that they will strap a bomb on themselves walk into a pizza palor or a daycare center and blow them up all in the name of their god. A government that is sending their own people in to a country who is fighting for freedom and democracy, so that they can stop it, so they will be under one supreme ruler. And you want to let them have nuclear technology? I don't think so, they don't care about dieing, like the Japanese do or the Germans, Koreans, Vietnamese. They want to destroy the Jews they don't care if they survive or not but as long as they kill as many Jews and other non believers (me and you) they will be happy with their virgins in the sky. Should they have a nuclear bomb so not only can they destroy a thriving nation but destroy our economy and our already decaying environment. They should not and hopefully will not have a nuclear bomb.

And in using nuclear weapons in WW2 saved 100's of thousands of lives on both sides and ended the war. Nuclear weapon access must be controlled and the president is fulfilling his constitutional obligation to protect the country and as leader of the free world to protect others from those who have no objection to using them.

As President, Bush doesn't have the right to decide alone who is or is not to have nuclear weapons. It must be a cooperational effort amonst other nations . Not just the U.S..

I think you need to shorten that question.
Question: Is Bush justified in thinking.
Answer: No, he's not smart enough to think, this is why he has a team of people behind him explaining everything he needs to know using little pictures and other cartoon like drawings. These people feel the pain worse then we do each time Bush speaks out on his own or strays of the scripts he is given.
Thank you.
Good day, good luck, have fun.
