It is never too late to start over. When you're dead and gone, that's when it's too late. Otherwise, keep on truckin!!! (You're 48, you know what I mean by that, lol)
I am 42 and recently separated from my husband of 24 years. I see divorce in the future and I am looking forward to starting over.

No way! There's too much fun yet to be had! I am 44 and if things keep going like I expect...then we need to get together and go exploring. I look at positive move, not that my life is ruined. Don't to say my heart isn't broke...but a new beginning...48.you still got a lot of offer the world and a man if you want one..your choice! That's the thing...your choice, doesn't that sound good, not worrying about what, when, and why. Freedom to do what you want to do without worrying about the if's.!
H8LL NO YOU AIN'T TOO OLD! Honey, you just need a perky friend to pump you up with crazy and wild ideas! You have some much you can do...travel, go back to school, change careers, do something for you! YOU! Seriously, no sweetie it's not to late, never is, to begin again...restart....regroup...whatever you want to call it..it's a whole new chapter in your book of live...so what kind of new adventure do plan for yourself?
God bless us all................

Absolutely not! I remarried at 42 to a very handsome man six years younger than me. I have never been so happy. When you are older you are so much more confident with yourself and can contribute a lot of insight to a relationship. Mature people are past the "game playing" that goes on with younger couples.
We have been together for 11 years now and each day is a real pleasure. Get out there and meet people and you will be surprised how easy it is to find someone. Good luck!

No you are NOT too old to start again. But! I wouldn't start having kids at 48. You have a whole lot of living left to do. Just Do It!

HELL NO! My gosh you sound like your 90 with one foot in the grave! And hey, if you want my advice.. for what its worth...no one has to live your life but you. If you only worry about making others happy...and it doesn't make you happy...what a wasted life to live. Your not too old to fall in love again I think 48 is still young.
Oh, and in response to the person who said that it would be gross. If a 20 year old thinks your worth going out with ...go for it!! Wellll...make it at least over 21..lol
Who cares what anyone else thinks...You only live once make it all count. Be happy with yourself.

Of course not. With proper care and a little luck, you could easily last another 50 years. My great-aunt remarried at 85 and was happy with her new hubby for the rest of her life. My aunt remarried at 78 and is doing great.
Buy yourself a really good haircut and some new clothes. You're a much better catch than you think you are!

absoutley not ........they say you get better and wiser with age ......you must know what you want in a mate go find it .........never too late, but if you keep telling yourself that you will grow older and bitter .............think of it as a new begining and count your blessings ,life is good at 48 you are prime for some hot ladies out there , maybe find yourself one that did well on a divorce settlement or something ......No, but in all all kidding aside its never too late \ good luck
