Are there any other software/websites that provide better satellite maps than google maps???

Try windows live local bete. yahoo search: us maps. and look at the web addres for the live local.
it combines or combindes animation forthe for wider out shots and satilite images for closer images of roads, houses, and bulding and airports. it is the best or maybe second best i can enterain my self ofr hours on that site. looking at airforce base and naval bases. they even show area 51.

Yes google maps and google earth are the best and there is an another software called NASA WORLD MAPand there are also other soft like amiglobe,3d-world maps,etc.try it
