This boy is my friend and that is all, but he likes me. Everytime I see him in school he always has to say something. I'm not even cool with him all like that. The other day my mom and I gave him a ride home and when we got 2 his house he hugged me! He's really starting to get on my nerves but I'm not trying to to hurt his feelings. Plus he's not that handsome at all. How can I let him know I want to be friends but that's all?

Just 4 some ppl who r confused, just b/c he's not handsome is not the reason I wouldn't want to go w/ him. It's just because he is my friend and I could never look at him in that light, and he's starting to become a little too clingy.

Hmm.. ive never been in that sort off situation if you totally sure he likes you and you totally don't fancy him you gota tell him or avoid him but its best to tell him

You have to come right out and say that you just want to be friends. And what kind of friend would you be anyway??? Especially when you say that he is not that handsome at all!!! That is so superficial!!! You are not much of a friend at all, how could he even consider being your friend!!!! He would be wasting his time with you!!! Did you never hear that beauty comes from within???

Only tell him you wanna be friends if he asks you out. You might be wrong, maybe he doesnt like in that way and you would make a big mistake if you said you just wanna be friends and he doesn't have a crush on you, you'll just embarress yourself. Also, when you tell him you just want to be friends, tell him your worried it would ruin your friendship. And if it really annoys you when he hugs you, just tell him that you feel uncompfortabel when he does that. You should be compfortable telling him you r feelings, I mean you've been friends with him for 5 years!

Well maybe he considers you his friend, since you've known each other for 5 years. I don't think hugging is a big deal, I hug my friends! It's not like he tried to make out with you.
But if it is a big deal to you and it makes you feel uncomfortable, which it sounds like it does, make sure to tell him you like him as a friend, but no more then that.

I think you should just tell him straight out you don't like him. I know right now it doesn't seem like the best solution, but if you don't, it is kinda like you are leading him on and he'll all be like pissed and later feel like he wasted all his time believing in his like own world and what not.
