I have a problem with sitting back watching bad things happening, I can't do it.
I feel I have to help if I am able to.
I would not call that a hero, it is called compassion.

Twice on my job, I performed First Aid to prevent someone from bleeding to death due to car accidents on the freeway. Once I helped deliver a baby girl. But I don't consider myself a hero. I just happened to be at the right time and place.

Well I served with MILLIONS of Heros So I guess that does make me a hero...
Plus I'm an EMT so that makes me a hero as well

When I was a nurse stationed in Iraq I grabbed a grenade and threw it out of our trench. The other women soldiers said I was a hero but I was just scared.

I guess... but that's not how you see it when faced with saving a life/lives... you just get on and do what needs doing... which I've done a few times in my life.
Isn't this what we are meant to do, care for one another... never mind the hero stuff...

A Hero is someone that does something incredibly stupid and gets away with it.

depends on your definition of hero, i suffered burns in a house fire trying to get to my kids,. hero or just a dad ?

actually two times, coz when i was studien in the night a thief came to our home and i catched him and this happened two times and our naighbors was calling me a hero
