That's terrific! I remember some advice that somebody told me when I got my licence and he was right about it. I will tell you. When you get your licence you will all of a sudden have all kinds of friends. Friends that you didn't have before and even some that wouldn't hang around you no matter what before that. Just remeber this one thing....ok? The friends that you hang around with now ....before you get your licence are your friends. The ones that seem to want to be around you since you got your licence and a vehicle to drive aren't your friends. They are just hanging around for one reason and that is because you can take them places and so on since you got your licence and wheels too to drive. Another piece of advice I'd like to offer you is this. Please don't have the radio too loud....it will distract you, don't fiddle with the radio while travelling down the road...it's very dangerous, always keep your eye on the road and your surroundings and if I was you don't speed, drink and drive, have anybody in the back of the truck and always pay attention to every detail. Good luck and happy driving!

Keep death off the roads-use the bus!Seriously, there are far too many accidents involving young drivers. The tests should be much more stringent, both the practical and oral.A trainee driver should undergo some extra form of tuition too..bike training. All to often in this day and age, when people pass their tests, the learning, roadcraft and basic safety requirements go out of the window. All i would say to you is drive safely-carefully and within the limits of your car,AND THE LAW!Driving is a pleasure and a privilege, not a right-good luck to you:-)

Make sure you exaggerate when you're scanning. If you don't make sure they see you shoulder check and all that, they'll tell you they didn't see you.

Always turn into the first lane, and do the three second stop thing.

My advice would be to drive slowly, wear your seatbelt, be cautious of your surroundings and don't have more than one friend in the car until you are older and more comfortable driving.

I remember when my daughter started driving I was a mess. Just be real careful and do not try and show off in front of your friends. Remember always keep your eyes looking in front of you and in the back and sides of you and what ever you do please do not talk on the cell phone that is a command..................good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
