Why is IRAN not allowed a nuclear weapon and Israel is?

We already know Israel will misuse it's existing weapons. Just look at Lebanon.

There is absolutely NO PROOF that Israel has nuclear ordinance. The US, through Britain had to send bunker bursting bombs to them during the Lebanese conflict. Just another piece of Propaganda.

Iran is not making nuclear weapons and has stated repeatedly it has no intentions of attempting to make nuclear weapons.

LIAR Bush is saying that not Iran. Iran is a member of the N-NPT and has the right to enrich uranium for energy purposes as long as inspectors are allowed in of which that have fully complied.

Now with that said, you bring up a good point as far as Israel having nuclear weapons because Israel is not even a member of the N-NPT while Iran is. The simple answer is pure hypocrisy and a double standard for allies to the USA.

Israel already has it so there is little we can do. Iran claims it's not seeking to have nuclear weapons simply nuclear energy. Many countries have offered to assist them in getting that but they insist on enriching uranium (which is used for weapons). The UN and the world at large is trying to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons by anyone and any country attempting to build them would be dissuaded, not only Iran. In Irans' case the matter is more urgent in that, they openly support terrorism and want to see the destruction of Israel.

The questions are very different. Whether Israel is likely to "misuse" its nuclear weapons (and what is the proper use of them, anyway??) is a separate question from why the UN and the United States are both disapproving Iran going nuclear. Every nation in the world is now able to ask the question, "Why can the U.S. have weapons and other nations have them, and we can't?" It is the wrong question, of course, and it is, as we can see, producing the wrong answers: nuclear proliferation.

isreal is sourounded by enemies everyone hates them and they would be comletely destroyed without a nuclear deterent. isreal wouldn't use them though unless they were prevoked such as an invasion. even then they probably wouldn't use them. Iran on the other hand is a country that is wiling to destroy isreal and has hinted many times that if they had a nuke they would use it on isreal. so if iran gets the bomb they would use it in an instant. so in conclusion isreal goverment = somewhat good, isreal people= good. That's right. Israel hasn't used the bomb for as long as they've had it. I think they understand what could happen now if a nuke was used. Iran, on the other hand, is like the little kid who's trying to be big.

As for Irasel having nuclear weapons, they probably haven't been used in many years and were probably made before the treaty about nuclear weapons.

Israel has had nuclear ordinance for atleast 45 years and hasn't used them. Iran would use the bomb as soon as they were discovered.
