I would get it done professionally. You can put yourself at risk of burns and ripping skin off (because the wax is too hot) if you do it incorrectly.

I would recommend sugar paste (sugaring). I don't like waxing as it always burns my skin leaving it flaky for a week after though I did it the times I had waxing in beauty salons. Sugaring have same effect of long lasting hair free skin, with more smooth, shiny look.

After removing hair, I rub my skin with lemon halves (you'll feel burning sensation the first time), leave it for around 10 mins, soothe it with olive oil and massage well, leave it for another 10 mins, then shower.

definately get it at the salon. sounds like its ur first time doing it, so the more u shuld get it at the salon. waxing it very messy and hurts more when u pull it urself. if u really want to do it urself, get the microwave kind because it'll be hot just like the salon ones. try nair

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Hey, well, I'd suggest using wax that you don't have to heat up, because that can be rather inconvenient. Try using waxes by companies such as Veet and Sally Hansen. ^^ Also, for other ways to remove/minimize hair, try Aveeno facial and body lotions that help minimize appearance of hair, as well as Joven hair bleach.

I would advise you NOT to remove the hair from your arms.
It is a very bad idea. Theres a very good chance of the hair comming back thicked and even darker.
