Yes you can. Your mind will block out most times extremely painful moments if you choose to let it. My mother has shown me (pictures and documents), and told me of times in my life where I was extremely injured physcially. Yet, I have no recollection of the experience. I remember no pain, or anything remotely connected to such an event she will be telling me about. So I can honestly say, yes...your mind does block out things if you choose it to. I must have chosen to, otherwise I would remember it. If God wants to remember it now, or later...He will let me because He will know I will be able to handle it. But if He knows it is nothing I can beneift from, He will not let me remember. SO it comes down to this too, if we choose to block certain things out...there is a reason. Either we are not meant to remember them period, or we are meant to remember them at a moment in our lives when we will be mature enough to handle them.

I dont know if youve ever heard this saying but ," Only Time Will Heal Your Mind, And Help You Forget!" Atleast that's what i think... It also helps to focus on all of the good things that have happened and let the bad ones fade away...

I've recently remembered things that happened 20 years ago but I had forgotten all about them. I ended up reliving the pain all over again but I feel a lot better now.

Went with the aid of comparable concern. We split for 2 months b/c he became rather undesirable whilst i became pregnant and that i became afraid. We have been given back mutually. He controlled his anger, fairly became loving and affectionate for the main section. i for my section concept issues have been finding up, then he went away for the weekend to a church journey and that i found evidence that he'd been cheating on me the full time after (and in the previous) we would gotten back mutually. God I choose i could regularly occurring all this in the previous a newborn became extra into the image. i realize it fairly is possible to artwork on issues, yet he sounds too very reminiscent of my husband. i could hate so you might go through contained in the direction of the hell I do. in case you could, go away and flow on in the previous teenagers are in touch. it's going to basically worsen.

Many people who have had tramatic things happen to them repress the memories...unfortunately, they come bubbling up at the darndest times, leaving us bewildered, not knowing if it is a memory or a trick of the mind...very difficult to deal with.

yes, but you should not.. you must deal with it or it will it can resurface as other things..destructive behaviours, health problems..depression..Once you identify it and accept it, release it but never forget.. else the lesson is lost forever and you will repeat it some day.

I think that what is to dramatic for us we can choose not to remember it. I also think that we have a build in cercetry that eraces things that are way too dramatic.
