The only way to guarantee a win would be to buy every possible Lotto combination. If the Lotto odds are 50 million to one, you would need to invest $50 million to guarantee a win. If the pot were $100 million and you were the only winner, you would have doubled your money. But it one other player won, you would only break even. And if more than one other player won, you would lose.
I only play when the pot gets to be more than $100 million. This way, if you do win, you'll walk away with a life-changing sum, even if you have to split it a few ways.
