Selective reading of almost any holy book can be interpreted as a call to forcefully convert others to the "true" religion.

The way to an Islamic state is to first purchase a 7-11. Then you may buy a circle K if so inclined. I do not shop at 7-11 for this reason, nor will I shop at that gas station on the s/w corner of 51st ave and Latham. You may get my gas dollars for now, but alternative fuels are soon coming my friends.

No, but some ppl stretch the truth 2 make it seem like that. all religions have ppl who do that, though. there's alot of stuff on wikipedia about an Islamic state. Hadith r also holy writings, but not as definite.

It all has to do with brainwashing, young boys are taught to recite the quran by memory, but can they tell you what the teachings are about??? You can do the same thing with the bible, and any other holy book, if the people are not educated than it is easier to brainwash them into doing your will. There are radical christans, and Jews in this world too some of them just as brainwashed as the Islamic radicals!!!!

Yes it does, just as the Bible seeks a world under Christianity. Or the communists seeks one under a Marxist/Leninist world order.
