i just bought a berand new guitar and i want to play a song but everytime i look up tabs or chords it just says G B A C ... exc how do i play those

chords are used to play almost everything on a guitar. i really recommend investing a few bucks for a chord book. It'll teach you how to play tons of chords and make you an awesome guitarist.
