i love nicholas sparks.....he wrote the book the Notebook, message in a bottle, a walk to remember.....plus alot more all of his books are great

alice hoffman- green angel, short but very inspiring
forgot author-who stole my cheese? or who took my cheese?
(not for little kids lik picture books its a chapter book)

its funny how people dont answer the question they just put what authors they like...
try christopher moore. but sometimes people don't end up liking authors similiar to their faves b/c they just dont stack up in comparison. you never know so get it at the library... so i dont feel bad if you hate it! haha
