It takes me Foooorrreveeerrr to make a decision. I am constantly weighing the pros and cons and trying to predict how the decision will affect me in the future. When I chose something, even something minor, I worry that I am making the wrong choice. Is anybody else like this??

Yes, I completely sympathize with your problem. It is hard to make a decision because we are afraid of making the wrong decision.

OK, I'll tell you what my dear Mother told me and I hope it helps you. My Mother said it's much better to make a decision (even if it's wrong, turns out to be a mistake) then to be in limbo - not able to make a decision. Once you have made the decision, you feel better because you are not in the middle of nowhere. Now if your decision turns out to be wrong, a mistake, it's still not the end of the world - many times, it's possible to change the decision - as my Mother used to say "it's not written in stone".

So go ahead, weigh your pros and cons, decide, and know that if you make an error in your decision, you can try again, try something new, go in a different direction - it's up to you - you learn and you choose better next time.

Yes all the times. Making choices means choosing a path, a road, and renouncing the others. It's hard to chose something when you want to keep your options open. I can never simply chose something in less that 2 minutes. It's all about choosing, on the one hand you take quality, look, stile, etc. I understand you completely.

Conscience enables one to assume responsibility for the acts performed. It is good that you take time to examine your conscience, however, you need to study this pattern (not the choics) but though pattern to "steam-line" your decision making process.

The dignity of the human person implies and requires uprightness of moral conscience. Conscience includes the perception of the principles of morality (synderesis); their application in the given circumstances by practical discernment of reasons and goods; and finally judgment about concrete acts yet to be performed or already performed. The truth about the moral good, stated in the law of reason, is recognized practically and concretely by the prudent judgment of conscience. We call that man prudent who chooses in conformity with this judgment.

Remember, failure, and bad choices also teach you enabling you to do better next time. Think about how many failures you had while you learned to walk ... or find a toddler and watch them try to learn to walk.
