I've installed a driver. But the device is not showing up in my computer. I also have a PDA that I sync up using my usb port. Could there be a conflict and how do I fix this?

Plug and play or use the software that is with it.

If it's USB, make sure you install the drivers prior to plugging it in. Otherwise Windows will lose it's mind and not work properly.

If you plugged it in beforehand... unplug it, install the drivers and try a different USB port.

You have to install the drivers first before plugging it in. Especially if it's a USB. Most hardware on Win98 cannot just be plugged in without drivers first.

Read the directions before you do anything, and ignore the person who said install 2000, for gawds sake don't install anything that crashes if you burp to loudly!
