YES! It is not normal for a pregnat woman to have a period or any type of blood coming out of her. You might have had a miscarage! : - ( My mother had 2 miscarages before she had me and she started bleeding when she had me, luckily her doctor put her on an antibiotic and saved my life. talk to your docoty as soon as possible!

you didn't say how far along you are. in the beginning you can have reddish but mostly brown spotting that is old brown--especially after having sex. towards the end of pregnancy if you are being checked to see if your cervix is thinning out you can spot from being checked. only be concerned if the blood is bright red.

Are you cramping? In any back pain? If its redish-brown then its just old blood and nothing to worry about. But if its bright red and you are in pain then I would suggest a trip to the ER.

A small amount of bleeding can happen after sex or being examined by your Dr. It's painless, but scarry. If you have cramps with it, or it's more than spotting then you do need to go and see your DR.

how far along are you. It's maybe nothing serious the way you described it. But you may also want to see a doctor to express your concern.
