beats Panic at the Disco but Panic at the Disco wins video of the year? That leads me to beleive the MTV awards are just a circus of crap. I'm starting to hate the awards and it's stupid favortism. It never rewards the artists that deserve it anymore. Can you picture the Grammy's doing something so irrational? I don't think so. And then the Black Eyed Peas wins best hip hop video? It's not even hip hop it's pop with rap.

It is circus crap..... and the only reason why anybody won because of 'votes'.... I don't think those 'votes' were in.... seriously, I've never seen any percentages showing anything like if they had won by a land-slide or whatever... That's bull sh*t, VMA's are a waste of time.... all that voting, thinking that he artist you wanted to win, actually win, but instead, some new comer who can play an instrument..... As for BEP, they weren't any good anyway, they sang a song about how greatly Fergies 'hups' were and that's baout it.... Nothing on MTV is real anyway, even they're reality shows are like that.
sorry, it's just the way I think, MTV is fake, well, anything that's 'reality' is fake......

Well Panic! at the Disco are not rock, therefore cannot win the rock video category but obviously their video is better than AFI overall so they win video of the year.

Actually it doesn't even make sense that Panic! won video of the year with that piece of sh!t they dished out to us, even when I did like Panic! I still thought that video was the worst music video ever.
MTV = teh suck. The only reason I watched the VMAs was to see OK Go dance on treadmills (anyone who knows me knows that I've been an avid OK Go fan since forever) and to see Jables (Jack Black...) because I love me some Jables.

That was a tough category because the chilli peppers were great and so was AFI and 30 seconds to mars. It was the voice of the public and well miss murder was a big hit!

uh dont watch it but AFI has been round fro 15yr they need an award sometime and PATD won vid of the yr but i though other more indie bands should be nominated or won but thats ok

All those award shows are full of crap. The only time I have ever seen something that truly deserved it when Crash won for best picture.........

Yeah i care too.... AFI is SO Fu**** warm the lead singer is in simple terms too. yet... he's so gay!!!! oh nicely and that i did not get to be certain the VMA's final night i became so busy the former day, it fairly is not even humorous!?!?

i dont know what your complaining about afi is an awsome band and davey has an awsome voice and panic at the disco is also an awsome band but p!atd is not really rock but they are still awsome and brendon has an awsome voice!!

mtv sucks. watch IMF, they actualy play the whole video instead of 5 seconds and then an hour of commercials!
