My space key squeaks every time I hit it. I called the company and they said I would have to mail it in. Is professional help the only solution, or will it wear itself out over time?

No, no, no that's not your space bar...that's the mouse..Ohh, sorry hehe I couldn't resist a little humor might stop your frustration. You are probably smarter to mail it back to the company where it is only a month old. The only other thing you can do is contact a local computer repair shop and see if they have heard of this before, and if they have, what do they suggest. You will probably be in danger of voiding your warranty if you attempt to fix this yourself. Have a good day.

you could try prying off the spacebar and if you see some metal springs, put a tiny bit of WD40 on it... becareful not to break any of the plastic connectors.
