Okay I have been having some internet problems and wanted to create another yahoo account. I went to create another account and went through all the steps to do that. However I did not realize it would delete my old yahoo account. Since I have created the new account, I cannot log into the old one anymore. So is there a way for me to retrieve the old account? It is full of information that I need, I would have never created a new account had I known it would delete the old one. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated........thank you misled

Write to Yahoo Customer Service.
If you are able to answer all of their questions correctly (birth date and other info registered with your account, last date changes were made to your account, etc.) they are in a position to offer help.
If you cannot answer all questions correctly, then an easily deleted account is lost forever. Unfortunately you need only a username and password to delete the account, but reinstating it is quite a chore.
Good luck to you... and you must act in a timely manner. The longer you wait, the less likely they will be able to help.

Once an account is deleted it is deleted and cannot be retrieved When you make a new account it prompts you to accept that the old account will be deleted and unrecoverable However it takes Yahoo about 2 weeks to delete an account so may be able to contact them and stop it

I don't think that Yahoo will delete previous account after creating a new account. Because I did it some times and nothing happened to my pre-accounts.
So try to go through " Forget Password" , may it works.

hmmm... I have two yahoo accounts and one did not get deleted when I created the other one.

i have created a new account and it didnt delete the old one at all..You must have messed up somehow
