Life has been weird, and sometimes mean/cruel but if I let myself see the whole picture in retrospect it evens itself out. The good times aren't exactly easy because I had to work for most of my happiness but they are rewarding and worth all the bad. Karma is fair and true.
I could give you a long explaination for what I've been through and why I feel this way but I'll spare you the details.

Both. I believe in karma. The man who is not sorry and does not change his ways will suffer by his own hand. Conversely, if you change the energy and put out positive vibes, the same should come back to you. Sometimes there is energy leftover from the last life that affects your present life. Also, sometimes bad things just happen. Your friend driving poorly in the rain and slipping into a ditch and then you get a broken collarbone and shattered wrist is a terrible accident, but it's just that.

My early years sucked. I was adopted by parents who intoduced me as their adopted son and my brother as their 'real' son. So many years ago I stopped having any contact with them, they might even be dead now for all I know. And suddenly life started getting better. A co-worker said I was the luckiest person they knew and that every time I turned around I got another lucky break.
I wish I knew my real parents or that my adopted parents had thought of me as their son but in the end life went from mean to easy. That's alot better than the other way around!

Life for me has never been easy, but I wouldn't say it has been mean to me either. For every trauma overcome I've learned something from it and I feel stronger for having experienced all I've been thru. My father died when I was 9. My first husband of 25 years died in a car accident. The first year of marriage to my present husband, 9 immediate family members died (Hey, they're happy, our job is done, time to go). I'm a breast cancer survivor and am fast approaching my 60th birthday. Every day holds new challenges and new things to be happy for and I'm truly lovin' life. Wouldn't want to go thru it all again, but don't have a single regret either.

Life has not bean "mean" to me, but it has been very hard at times.
However, the hard times were the times when I matured and grew the most as a woman, mother a fellow human being. I don't regret them.

Little of both but when it gets hard or people are mean I take it like a big girl and let it roll off my back and ignore. Then I know things can only get better

Life is not easy. I've had a few downers, some were my poor decisions. You just keep on keepin' on.
