I'm a huge fan of Lawrence Sanders. McNally's Secret was the very first Archie McNally book I read, and the twisty plot caught my fancy right away. I love how Archie gets in and out of hot water constantly, gets into trouble with his girlfriend in every book, yet always comes out on top at the end.
