I was once stopped by a policeman due to the way I walked. Once he realised I am disabled he said 'Hitler had the right idea how to deal with people like you'.

What did Hitler do to disabled people? Have other prople come across other people who think like this?

it might not have been that you were disabled, but perhaps you dont have blonde hair and blue eyes?

basically Hitler was trying to build a race of "super men", so he was weeding out what he saw as the bad seeds... perhaps he murdered disabled people as well, that fits into his scheme

Oh dear! I am so sorry that you encountered such a "bar-steward"! There are so many evil people out there who fear anything that is out of their comfort zone! I know that faced with someone in a position of authority, such as a policeman, answering back is the wrong thing to do but the temptation would be to tell him that Hilter would have done the same thing to him because he is disabled too; he is "socially disabled".

Hitler wanted to create the ultimate race and in doing so he eliminated what he thought to be "undesireables" in order to make living space for "the Master Race". The disabled and mentally ill were sterilised or killed so that they did not have a chance to pass on their "defective genes".

You should report that policeman to his superiors as his comment was totally out of order and shows that he will likely pick on other minorities unfairly.

Hitler was looking to make a "perfect" race. no blacks, jews, or any other colour. Inclueding brown eyed ppl and ppl without blonde hair. Every one else was hurded into a consentration camp and cooked alive in large ovens. Some, the disabled, mental or physical, were kept for horific experiments that were very unnatural. THe disbald were also casterated so not to "reproduce" there improfections.

I am appalled that policeman said that. You should have reported him.

Many disabled children were killed by gassing by the nazis, some of them just for being born deaf. Their parents were persuaded to do this to supposedly strengthen the arien race, although from a modern understanding of genetics this was nonsense

The Nazi regime did two things with disabled people.

(1) They were used in gross experimentation.

(2) They were sent to the gas chambers.

If you ever come across a police officer (or anyone else for that matter) that makes a remark such as that.....get his name & number & report him to the department. It is extremely sad to think that there actually are people out there walking among us that still believe in this crap.

Hitler put disabled people in special hospitals initially to be cared for, where they were eventually killed. So sad that in this day and age that there are still intollerant people in the world..

Here you go: http://nazi_medical.tripod.com/ (lots more on the net).

Annoyingly, some of the most grotesque experiments carried out on POWs have resulted in current medical cures for many diseases/ailments. Pretty much like in medieval times in this country when convicted criminals were given to doctors (barbers) for examination whilst alive. I would have punched the policeman by the way...

This police officer was a damn disgrace and should have lost his job immediately. How dare he come out with such a disgraceful mouthful of sh1t!!!
You should have taken a mental note of his number and reported him to his superiors - and informed the local rag of his terrible comments.
He is a disgrace to the British Police, who do a fine good job in this country.
His kind are not wanted, not now, not EVER!!!

It's commenta/attitudes like that which give Peace Officers a bad name (you pick 'em). What country were you in and how prevalent is that thinking in the area, I wonder? Shoot some goodvibes to the bum, he needs it.
Hitler snuffed the disabled.
