Who hates the current state of hip-hop?

Come on. Rap sucks today..Let's all just admit it.

There are a few songs that I like the beat (I can't think of any that I like the words). Overall, though, I really don't like most hip-hop because it's all the same. It's not original anymore. Everybody's rapping about the same thing, all the MCs say they're the greatest in the world (and they all can't be right, obviously), and even the beats to a lot of the songs sound very similar. They even copy off of each other. One rapper will come up with a phrase in one of his songs, and next month there will be three new songs with that same phrase or some version of it. C'mon, guys, can't you do any better than that? Can't you come up with anything original?

If something, he only spoke what maximum hip hop heads and artists did not desire to publicly say. i've got not been in music with mainstream hip hop for a whilst, yet while i pass to golf equipment the present artists do get various play and human beings nonetheless shake their booty with it. suitable now, the mainstream media mentions hip hop now greater beneficial than ever. invoice O'Reilly mentions hip hop, albeit in a destructive spotlight. various businesses found out the city marketplace mandatory to be tapped to make money, and use various hip hop music. Any exposure is powerful for hip hop, and suitable now this is receiving lots. definite, i think of hip hop will stay to tell the story in this is present day state. You supply the folk what it needs, and that they desire club-bangers!

Yeah I don't like rap. Urgh. There's too much of it nowadays. It's not even proper music.

Some of it's alright - it depends.
I mean, take "Daydream" by Lupe Fiasco for example, he raps in it, but somehow the song works together as it's not just all rap. If rap did exist, it should mix in with a catchy chorus and music.

In my opinion, most rap videos are rude and they just degrade women.
Examples - 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, etc.
Come on! Use some respectable videos at least. Pssh.

I've hated the last 10-11 years of hip-hop with few exceptions like Jay-Z, Kanye, Mos Def and very few others.

I'm tired of going to the club with the Escalade drinking Crystal - 90% of the audience has to break the law to afford the club, Escalade and Crystal.

Wow, some ignorant people, I never said Rock N Roll sucks, Blue Grass sucks, Country sucks, I just say it doesn't appeal to me. Elvis definetely sucks, his racist ***, should have died before stardom. The only reason you hate rap is because you don't understand. Some white people like Eminem, Paul Wall, and Bubba Sparxxx has ruined rap..

P.S> - Miss New Booty was written by a white guy WHO thinks he can rap there is a difference.

actually. anybody who says that is completely biased and ignorant. Personally, I hate hip-hop that has absolutely no meaning (Ms. New Booty....WTF?!) but I really do like a lot of hip-hop. But it all depends on if it touches important subjects or is extremely influencial or innovative.
