does any one know or have any backgroung in the operations of a smoke shop? and can they give me any insite in the on how to go about starting my own and what i will need to do so?

By smoke shop, what do you mean? Cigar store or paraphenalia? If it's a cigar store, make sure you know local requirements as far as where smoking is allowed and such, compare yourself to other thriving businesses and take notes. If it's the other, get to know your local police force. If you are honorable and abide by the local laws regarding such things, having them as familiar faces will save you a lot of headaches.

I would say choose another business. Smoke shops are responsible for smoke related deaths. The karma is the same as for a gun shop.
