Hey guys. I'm a 24/F female, relatively fit and active. I am an occasional marijuana user, as in I smoke up to three times a month. The last time I smoked weed was about 2.5 weeks ago. Before that I smoked three times that month. I have to take a drug test (most likely a urine test) in four days. What are the chances that I will pass the drug test? I took an at-home drug test and passed it. I took it again to make sure and I got a negative again. I have high metabolism and I know that's important because I know THC is stored in fat. Should I trust my at-home drug tests and hope for the best?

Okay, try not to listen to every person who gives you advice about drug testing; most people only have poor advice that someone else passed on to them, usually while stoned. In all actuallity, supplements like goldenseal do nothing to cleanse your system of thc. Also, you don't need stop for a month or even a week. Finally, at home drug tests are made to detect thc at the same level as employment screening and court tests, 50 ng. The most important thing to remember is this, what makes a urine sample suspicious is how it looks. If it is too clear or tinted an abnormal color, you will draw scrutiny, and you will get ******. If it is golden, you will have no problem; if all your pissing is pure water that happens to be yellow, how would they know, and why would they try to find out?. They only test the specific gravity (ph level) if it looks like you tried to waterlog. So drink some coffee, take some vitamin b (natural, from a health food store; turns your urine a golden yellow) and add a few drops of yellow food coloring to each bottle of water; and you will pass any urine test you take. Trust me, this is coming from three and a half years of clean drug tests for the courts; and they are more skeptical than anyone. Oh, and act confident, that keeps doubt away better than anything; good luck at your new job sweetie.

Usually, the effects of weed are gone within 72 hours, so a urine test should show negative.

However, some employers use a "hair test" using some hairs from your head. Drug residue can be detected months after use.

The urine tests that the clinics use are more sensitive than the at home tests. Take goldenseal, available at any health food store.

If they use a hair test, you are SOL.

Only if you are extremely lucky. Normally it takes from 30 to 45 days.

golden seal is STILL the industry standard for drug tests, particularly weed - high times rates it best every year…fyi.
