ok today i really want to go to the mall because i just got some money from my mom. but i cant because my mom says i cant go to the mall without a friend with me because someone might still me (IM 15). They also made me delete my myspace because of sexual preditors. i also have an older sister who is 21 and my mom still tells her what to do. my dad told me to come live wiht him because he says my mom wont let me grow up. She always tells me i dont want you to grow up. I cant wait til i turn 18.

I don't think your parents are stupid. In the case of your sister that is 21, and your mother still tells her what to to, the reality is that sometimes parents have trouble "letting go of the reins" so to speak. Some parents hang on longer than others.
As for your my space account, Sexual Predators are a very serious concern for many parents. Your mother is hoping to protect you is all, this doesn't make her stupid.
As for your mother not wanting you to grow up, that can pretty much be said about anyone's parents. As for your father and your mother having different viewpoints on how you should be raised, that can also be said about a lot of people's parents.
I don't think any of what you have said in the question makes them stupid.

No your parents are not stupid. I know it is hard for you to see that right now. Your mom is just protective. Maybe a little overprotective in some ways. Try using yahoo 360 instead of myspace.

Your mom dose sounds a little overprotective but it is better to have someone with you at the mall. It makes it more fun. I think your mom may need some counseling. she may have some issues/ problems she is not even really know of.

ur mom is being to over protected she needs to let loose a little hell my boyfriend is way older and his mom still gets in his and our life its like damn women hes not a baby no more so quit treating hym like one and myspace is what it is i met a lot of my old friends on their if those idiots who are being stalked by sexual predators its their dumass faults their the ones thta choose to give their number and where they live and all that **** out anyways ur mother needs to let loose on the leash some
