the error message i get is "unable to connect". how do i bypass it, my life depends on friendster rite now...u might ask why, some personal problems...please help!

Sadly most employers don't want people screwing around on those silly sites in the first place. But if it's that important you can search the internet for 'anonymous cgi proxy' and find a website to filter through to get to it therefore bypassing the proxy...until they find out you're still trying to access those sites and get mad. Don't lose your job because of these silly sites.
