Ultravox is the only one I know of, but I'm sure there's more.
Perhaps his official website would say?

Ultravox.. Vienna. Splendid person forget your Bono's and Bob Geldof's Midge is the quiet man that gets things done.. Ask some of the sick and dying children of the African Continent who they love it's Midge Ure.
I don't know why but every time I hear Vienna it makes me want to cry. It must be that haunting tune and the instrumental backing.

Master U has the answer you are looking for not for getting Ultravox! Slik were a short lived but fantastic band! H didn't fit in with Lizzy though!

Played guitar and sang with Glasgow band Salvation.
1974 band evolved in Silk and he took Midge.
Quit and joined punk band The Rich Kids that split within a year.
Had short stints with Misfits and Visage in 1980s before replacing Gary Moore on Thin Lizzy's US tour.
Early 80s, teamed up with Billie Currie to revive Currie's band Ultravox.
Ultravox split in 1987 then he went solo.
