First and foremost before Hitler the Nazi raped Swastika as a symbol it was/still is the Holiest symbols of Hindus and Buddhists! Just because one idiot misused a symbol does not mean it becomes evil ( if you argue it symbolizes this and that .... then my argument would be so people should also fear Christians 'cos they were the ones who killed the Jews eventually so should we fear Christians and run helter - skelter ) so people who really do not know much about Swastika a symbol which is more than 3500 years old should not even reply 'cos you actually do not know the history or the concept or the symbolization of Swastika, by the way even the US Army 45th Infantry Division wore the Swastika symbol on the left arm.as a patch for good luck for a very long time! Yes, They are trying to redeem the symbol at an international level by educating westerners so that people actually understand that it still symbolises life, luck, well being. and not what Hitler came up with! So it is no big wonder that a building is shaped like Swastika I guess the Architect and the approver knew more about the symbol than most

The symbol swastika was also used in quilt block designs and has been used for years. The building had to be designed by an architect. I do not think it was designed with any malice or connected with any organization like the Nazis. It was just a design but I could be wrong.

Yes,
most buildings as an imperative require a designer. So, yes it was definitely intentional.
Now for it to be an official U.S. of A. building,

Swastika doesn't necessarily mean "nazi, hitler, etc" .... the symbol is far older than that and exists today in many cultures, it means good to one soul. And is common throughout Asia. The swastika really has nothing to do with hitler, he simply misused it... It's better to forgive & forget idiots like him that misuse symbols.
