No you don't have to be rich to be successful. I think that I am successful because of all the stuff I have gained in my life, on my own not just given to me, and I am far from rich. I have everything I need, including self respect and confidence that I didn't have to cheat anyone or lie to get what I have and I feel very successful. There are lots of rich people that never did work a full day of hard work-how successful are they? Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are successful? Everyone has a different opinion of success. I feel like this I am a woman in a position where most men should be as an office manager for an ambulance company, I am a single mother who works full time and goes to school, I do not collect money from the government, Am paying for school on my own, and averaging a 4.0 so far, have a wonderful bf, the most supportive family and friends, and the most wonderful little girl as my daughter. I wouldn't trade any of it for money ever! I am Successful once I graduate from school I will have achieved all the goals I set for myself years ago!

The way to become successful is to work hard. This means starting in school. High school. The richest, most successful people also had original ideas. Some would say that the most successful are those who lead happy and fulfilled lives weather they are rich or poor.

Not at all, many people have started off with nothing and become successful. Money is not the measure of success.

Depends on what you mean by successful, it is a relative term and depends on your objective either short-term or long-term. For instance if your objective in life was to be a good human being, you dont need to be rich to achieve that.
Jesus christ wasn't a rich man, but he was successful or for that matter very successful in his purpose.

NO. Success isn't measured in dollars. Success is measured in quality of life, in the amount of happiness you obtain, in how much love you have in your life. And happiness doesn't equal dollars either.....often the more money you have the more UNhappy you are....always scrambling to protect it, to keep it from falling into the wrong hands or keep it from being taken away from you, which turns you into a miserable old miser.
