Wait until dark when they are not active. Put a garbage pail with water under it.Make sure you remembered the cover.spray with one of those small fire extinguishers if you have one They get too cold and to covered over to fly. Gently use a broom and nudge it loose to drop into the pail cover it up. Wait until the following evening to uncover to be sure they all drowned, I would use WD-40 but I am highly allergic to that.

Your first answer, by themrpine, is the best one so far. I don't remember the brand, but that long-distance spray is available at grocery stores, too. Just look for the one that fires a long stream -- somewhere between 12 and 18 feet as I recall. This allows you to keep a safe distance away. It's easy to aim. Once you've nailed the nest, move away from the area immediately just to be safe. Since you're allergic, maybe you have a friend who will do it for you. I used the stuff on a nest that was way back under my deck. Had plenty of time to get away. After that, just wait a while until the wasps disappear then knock the soaked nest down with a broom or pole of some kind. Be careful and good luck.

People suggest at night because the wasps are not active then. Sleeping maybe? I have heard of two methods, both done at night. Put a thick bag over it, closed tightly of course & then dispose of the bag - somewhere safe, & use a thick pair of gloves when doing this. Protect other parts of your body to, if you have allergies. The second method is similar but uses fire. Under the safest of conditions & with a buddy, put lighter fluid on the nest and light it. Is your porch wood? Be careful. Hope this is helpful in some way.

Get one of the insect sprays that are special for wasps and other flying insects.
Spray at least twice during the day.
After nightfall have someone remove it for you, if you are allergic to the stings.
You can then burn it, or leave it overnight in a pail of water if you prefer...and then just throw in the trash.
If you see that the wasps return, just don't allow them to rebuild, knock off any attempts to remake a nest, and keep spraying the area. You may have to do this several times...
Wasps are very tenacious little beasts!

Go to Walmart and buy some hot shot and also a box of Benadryl, spray the nest at night time when then are in the dormant mode, if you get stung take a Benadryl right away....put on a couple of sweat shirts and make sure your legs and feet are covered. You should be able to nail them good after dark without getting stung

i might get a twig, not a mist yet an aerosol can that sprays an extremely difficult, stable flow of flying pest insecticide, defend your self in a greater wholesome in the previous spraying! in case you spray immediately at/interior the nest, they'll all be long previous in a pair days. the two that or you will could desire to diminish the nest out of anyplace it is and remove it in an empty trash can with the insecticide sprayed in it. Stick the nest in it, close the lid, wait 2 days in the previous beginning it. yet constantly placed on a greater wholesome or some form of protection. this might help to confirm you at the instant are not stung only incase you're allergic.

Try going to Google & typing in "wasps nest"--you'll get TONS of helpful sites. You might also talk to someone at your local nursery, as they may have products that you would find helpful.
Good luck!

Besides the spray, wich I prefer, and the night hit with the bucket; which sounds good and logic, you can smoke them.
Get old newspapers, fire it, get enough smoke, hit it at night, bucket ready of course.
Find the spray, is the most safe way, anyway protect yourself with a coverall or winter clothes.
