A King Size is wider than a Queen Size.
Standard King or Eastern King beds are about 18" wider than a Queen bed and the same length.

A queen size bed is not the same size as a king size bed. King size is the bigger. I am sorry but I cannot assist you with finding one in Liverpool as I live in the States.

I believe a normal doudle bed is 4' wide. A queen is 4' 6'' and a king size is 5' wide. If you go for a king be careful as the bedding is always more difficult to find. And as for purchasing either of the sizes, just go to all of the retail parks and department stores. Happy hunting

The King size bed is definitely larger than a Queen. Here, a king size is about equivalent to two twin sized beds pushed together.

A king is wider than a queen. It's about the size of two singles pushed together, but it's the same length as a queen.
