I defrag my 228 GB C drive every couple of days because of my TV tunner. After I delete all of my home movies and recorded TV show, I usually have around 180 GB of free space. Now I only have 112 GB. Using my Search program did not any real large file or folders-only 5 folders with MB between 100 and 300 MB. All of my Programs are under 90KB with the vast majority being under 20 KB.

Did you run adware, malware, spyware & virus scans? Usually these take up a lot of space without being able to see where they are located or come from. I love EWIDO by grisoft and I also use Adware SE and AVG antivirus...forget the other name brands they use up resources and make your system run slower.

Also expansion packs and upgrades will take up additional space.

pass to: administration Panel > Uninstall a application. Delete something you do not use anymore and then run the disk freshen up. additionally delete internet surfing history and old downloaded content fabric (C:consumers/YOUR call/downloads)

i use AVG by grisoft to find any adware or spy programme, its good. try using it.

did you install any softwares. try searching for viruses.
