yeah thats very good of you for thinking ahead! theres nothing worse then being caught on the spot with nothing!! make sure you carry some in you bag or whatever just in case as you dont know when or where it will happen! go with your mum and choose the pads you want though as there are loadz about these days. you do not say how old you are but if you and your mom think it is time for you to start then yes buy the supplies and have them when you need them. it may sound silly but it would not hurt to even practice using the pads or tampons so you will be use to them when the time comes.
