How can you tell if someone is lying? I trust people easily, & hate to think that they're lying to me, even if something tells me that they are. I always ask myself "But what if I'm just imagining things?"

The answer is yes, most of the people do lie a little during their routine chores... but i believe, that they can get away without doing it... a small lie leads to a big lie and then leads to cheating and then crime.... We have to abide by the fact that we can also live without telling lies.. We only have to learn the lesson of sincereity and honest atleast to ourselves...

I do not think it good 2 lie and i try not do it but i do tell lies sometimes. sometimes it is for good thing like when you lie to help soemone 2 feel better and that is OK lie. its bad if you lie about others to hurt them. sometimes i have lied to my parents if i've done wrong so i dont get in trouble. i feel bad after though and i try not do it anemore. everyone lie sometimes i think even tho it not right 2 do. it easy to tell if i lie becaus i cant look in eye when im saying lie.

Yes we all lie a little, I even do to close friends tell a white lie, but its just human lol, Susie

Yes. Truth and falsehood are not polar there are intermediates between a fact and abject falsehood. A statement fits somewhere on that grid due to the answer itself or any omissions in it.

yes. some lie to protect others feeling but when it's a big lie then thats just wrong

i think everyone lies at some point in their life - some more than others, for various reasons.
on a resume - people fluff them up a bit
if your mom is wearing a HIDEOUS shirt, but you tell her it looks great
cheating on a bf/gf
politicians..
yeah. so everyone lies.
