It's benefiting as well as hurting. Immigrants want to come here for opportunity and freedom and that is ok as long as it's legally done. However, a vast majority of immigrants come here illegally and now there is overpopulation. That sucks because in the short term, the cheap wages they make (which is probably less than minimum since there is no law that will protect their earnings) and their slave labor will contribute to lower prices for Americans, but in the long run, this will drive up higher prices as well due to the amount of people coming in, such as higher home prices (yes, there are other factors as well, but overpopulation does contribute to this) and other things. It is a short term benefit, which in the long run will hurt all of us, but most people are accustomed to instant gratitude and satisfaction. In some areas of the U.S already, most people can't afford to own a home anymore, even with decent wages, and they can't refinance now that interest has risen up too. And employers won't have to hire people with higher wages since there are so many more people willing to work for less, unless you have some unique talent or education.

No, they do no longer earnings united statesa.. that's over crowded and now no longer risk-free interior the streets. The unemployment cost continues to be extremely severe, and that i'm specific if the agencies that hire illegals could be much less egocentric and grasping, then our human beings might have an risk to convey nutrients to the table and as a effect decrease the fee of homelessness. i think that no longer all homeless human beings need to be homeless or it became no longer their determination to be. our colleges are overcrowded besides, extra (unlawful) scholars attending and not adequate instructors or funds to offer the supplies (American) scholars might desire to examine. those are purely some examples... They do fairly, yet by ability of weighing all the aspects, the outcomes could be extra of a drain extremely... I"m taken with complicated working persons, yet i decide to be certain those complicated working persons doing issues legally, and not illegally. that's in basic terms no longer top.

In the short term they benefit many Americans by keeping the cost of goods and services low. However, overall they stagnate wage increases and contribute to over-population. Perhaps we should annex Mexico to the U.S. as the 51st state!

Unfortunately, yes. They benefit our economy by providing extremely cheap labor. So the prices of my groceries and many other products and services are cheaper than they should be.
