Infinite numbers can extend both ways. Starting from zero on the number line, you can have both positive and negative infinity.
The physical universe is not infinite. It is unbounded, and without an edge, in the sense that there is nothing but gravity limiting its expansion, but even if we cannot see the furthest stars expanding into limitless vacuum, there is a finite amount of matter and energy.
It has been estimated that there are only about ten to the 80th power ELECTRONS in the universe, for example. That is ten with 80 zeros after it. Any larger NUMBER, such as the google (10 to the 100th power) or the googleplex (google to the 100th power) is simply meaningless in terms of physical quantities and is a mere mathematical curiosity.
Just because we can imagine such a number doesn't mean that there is a one-to-one correspondence between that quantity and some physical objects. There aren't enough objects in the universe to count that high!

NO END.
The word infinity comes from the Latin infinitas or "unboundedness."
Yajur Veda (c. 1200–900 BC) which states that "if you remove a part from infinity or add a part to infinity, still what remains is infinity".
Aristotle:
"... it is always possible to think of a larger number: for the number of times a magnitude can be bisected is infinite. Hence the infinite is potential, never actual; the number of parts that can be taken always surpasses any assigned number." [Physics 207b8]
Infinity is the state of being greater than any finite (real) number, however large.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy contains the following definition of infinity:
"Bigger than the biggest thing ever and then some, much bigger than that, in fact really amazingly immense, a totally stunning size, real 'Wow, that's big!' time. Infinity is just so big that by comparison, bigness itself looks really titchy. Gigantic multiplied by colossal multiplied by staggeringly huge is the sort of concept we are trying to get across here."

Well, let's consider the set of natural numbers: 1, 2, 3, .... It clearly has a beginning, "1". It doesn't have an end, if you claim some number "n" is the end, I just add one to n and have a number past your "end". Using Cantor's definition of an infinite set -- a set which can be placed into one-to-one correspondence with a proper subset of itself -- the natural numbers easily qualify. The even natural numbers are a proper subset of the natural numbers, and the mapping n->2*n (1->2, 2->4, 3->6, etc.) puts the natural numbers into one-to-one correspondence with the even natural numbers.
So I've given you an infinite set with a beginning and no end.
Now, just to be difficult, here's a infinite set with a beginning and an end: the rational numbers from 0 to 1 inclusive. It clearly has an end and a beginning (0 and 1) and is infinite because I can map it to its proper subset "rationals from 0 to 1/2" by mapping n/k -> n/2k.

No end. Our universe is infinite, which means it has no boundary or edge. It goes on for ever. How ever the matter within the universe had a beginning with the big bang.
The number pi goes on to infinity, but it starts with 3.14159

"... all of us might desire to die to be sin loose as in keeping with Romans 6:7......." - If this have been actual, the Yeshua died in ineffective, through fact - as quickly as all of us die - we "are loose from sin", precise? incorrect. Sin is the errors guy took after Adam's transgression. as quickly as the physique is burned, there exist no errors. Deleted. that doesn't mean WE DESERVE something, and as a count of actuality, as Yeshua mentioned, we "are slaves stable for not something" that should die, through fact the only element that the regulation brings in, is death. After Yeshua's resurrection (the 1st one), many have been 'replaced' in an on the spot at their death, and that 'corruptible' became converted into incorruptible. they at the instant are in an living house with Him interior the domicile of His Father "the place there exist many Mansions" and that they are going to incorporate Him "as in a cloud" whilst He returns along with his saints. people who He does not comprehend as "His sheep" might might desire to attend until the Resurrection on the top of the only thousand years, the place there will be - for some - a Resurrection of existence, and for others a Resurrection of Judgment. the area of those unswerving to Him is the Universe, the Planets ("the stones of hearth" initially given to the non secular creatures that for the time of an prolonged time rebelled against God). issues will return to the situations existent on the very beginning up, returned, and he will Reign as a King returned. btw, you do not might desire to be a JW to study the Scriptures and permit somebody inform you what they mean. it fairly is there for all, be loose. study. study, the reality shall make you loose.

In math, there's a difference between +∞ and -∞. It depends on your context, I'd suppose... whether you're talking about something uniderctional or bidirectional.
